In January 2006 Carol and I went up to Loch Tay in the middle of the southern highlands for along weekend. We stayed at a small hotel on the bank of the Loch, owned by a South African gourmet chef!! Wonderful food and drink, but also lovely scenery all around, even though the days moved from frosty to sunny and back to icy again.
